Week 4- Shadows

 For this week, I wanted to capture different forms and size shadows. For one of the pictures, I wanted to try black and white to see how the contrasting would look. I kept the editing light this week by just sharpening the photos a bit and improving the shadow texture. I wanted to make sure I kept the full shadow in the frame.

This week in using Macro I decided to reapproach nature. This week my main focus was to use different techniques while editing my photos. I branched away from my normal techniques to see if I could find a different approach. This week helped me learn the style of photography I enjoy the most. Also, it helped me discover the editing techniques I prefer more.

LAST WEEK!

 Hi Everyone,

Here we are in the last week.  I will be doing the grading on Saturday, July 9th.  The last project is an in close portrait by window light, the person with an open face (not a smiley mask) and light breaking across the face.

Here are some good examples from Google Images:

See how the top of the head is cropped and there is more space in front of the face than behind the head?

See how light is covering 3/4 of the face?   Also the top of head is cropped and more space in front of face than behind head.

As a reminder, there were 5 major projects (Photo I) and each project should have 50-100 images in Google Drive and 6 - 10 edits or favorites for EACH project.

Photo II should have an equivalent number of pictures on the Drive...
