Week one - catching up

Hi everyone, 

My name is Pete and I am a CIS major at Albertus. I joined the class a week late so forgive me while I play catch up here. I am in my third year as an adp student and work full time for the phone company. I have been blessed to be able to work from home since the pandemic began and look like I’ll be staying as a work from home employee going forward as well. I have been married 17 years and have 2 sons, a 21 year old and a 15 year old. My wife is an English teacher, the oldest son a barista and aspiring director, the youngest is in a great tech school and following me into the IT world. Besides being techy, I am a huge comics and game nerd and originally dreamed of being an illustrator growing up, before bills took the place of dreams. I still doodle and enjoy art and I am hoping this class will help me dust off some old, abandoned,  Photoshop skills and add to my creative palette while checking off my art requirement before graduation next year. Started off my introductory self portrait with a reflection in a monitor, as that tends to be the view I see most every day.
